Sans suggests that the protagonist SAVE their game. Sans comments if the protagonist is still wearing the gross bandage they started out with. Sans asks if they ever had something to eat. Sans comments on the protagonist's ability to challenge themself, but tells them not to brag about it. (For example, if the protagonist neither removed the Bandage nor used consumables, and did not kill Papyrus, Sans will give his comment about getting something to eat.) Sans will only ever make one comment this table lists them in order of descending precedence. He can begin the call with a special comment if certain requirements are met. The monsters remain trapped behind the barrier and assume that the protagonist escapes the Underground.Īfter the brief, lackluster credits of the Neutral Route, Sans calls the protagonist's Cell Phone to leave a message.Flowey is either defeated or does not bother to fight.Asgore is killed, either by the protagonist or Flowey. ![]() Consistent across all Neutral Route epilogues: In all of the Neutral Route endings (except for after aborting the Genocide Route in Hotland), Alphys tells the protagonist that they must kill Asgore and take his SOUL, as a human SOUL alone cannot pass through the barrier. Undertale Review - Nintendo Switch Updateġ4 September 2018 Neutral Route Epilogue The track An Ending plays during the call, except in the Mettaton, Leaderless, Dog, Alphys, and Impossible variants. Given how the end of the soulless pacifist route is tied with the genocide route, it stands to reason that the ending should be taken at face value, rather than shrugged off as merely a scary prank. The first time is with Monster Kid, which is also the first time Chara initiates a battle against a monster. It’s important to note that “Anticipation” is played at a slower speed during a few key times in the genocide route.
